Notice: Architectural Change Requests 

Are you planning to make changes to the exterior of your home?

Our Architectural Committee (AC) Procedure outlines the steps for residents of Villa Monterey 7 (VM7) to obtain approval for changes to their front (street visible) exterior, ensuring compliance with the Community Covenants, Restrictions, and Regulations (CC&R) and the Rules & Regulations, as well as the Historic Preservation (HP) designation by the City of Scottsdale. Approval is required for modifications such as exterior paint colors, landscaping (excluding annuals and potted plants), windows, second-story patios or terraces, and changes to the driveway or entryway. 

NOTE: Approval is not limited to the Architecture Committee and HOA Board.  A secondary approval from the City of Scottsdale is also required after obtaining approval from the HOA Board.

 Review our Architectural Change Request Process document below.  Please review this carefully to ensure you fully understand the steps.  After approval from the Architecture Committee, approval from the HOA Board is required.  After HOA Board Approval, you must submit the signed request document to the City of Scottsdale through the Pre-Application form along with all supporting materials.  City of Scottsdale approval is required before you begin any work.  The detail steps our outlined in the Process document below.
